Grounds Set-up
Saturday from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm
Saturday from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm (2 shifts)
Under the supervision of a team leader, volunteers working in teams of two will:
• Set-up tables and chairs for VIP and chairs for festival/group tour seat areas
• Stake off sections between VIP, festival, and lawn seating areas
• Stake off handicapped access areas and walkways
• Set up tables and other amenities for Vendors Alley.
Note: This job requires volunteers to lift and carry heavy tables and chairs.
VIP Reception Cleanup and Break downSaturday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Under the supervision of a team leader, volunteers working in teams of two will:
• Pick up trash, empty trash cans
• Gather table cloths and fold and stack tables
• Take down pop-up tents and re-set Round tables and chairs
Parking Lot Monitors Sunday 7:00 am to 12:00 noon
Under the supervision of a team leader, volunteers working in teams of two will:
• Admit guests with valid VIP Parking Passes to reserve parking lots near the concert site
• Provide information to general public about parking options and procedures
Specific information about handicap parking will be available.
These volunteers may bring folding chairs and may be seated during some of their shift.
These volunteers will be assisted by the Barnstable Police and Pops Security Volunteers as needed.

Table Setters Sunday 9:00 am until 4:30 pm
Under the supervision of a team leader, volunteers working in teams of two will:
• Set all VIP tables uniformly with food and gift items.
This job requires volunteers to lift and carry a large quantity of items.
Parking Lot Monitors Sunday 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm
Under the supervision of a team leader, volunteers working in teams of two will:
• Admit guests with valid VIP Parking Passes to reserve parking lots near the concert site.
• Provide information to general public about parking options and procedures.
Specific information about handicap parking will be available.
These volunteers may bring folding chairs and may be seated during some of their shift. These volunteers will be assisted by the Barnstable Police and Pops Security Volunteers as needed.
Ticket Checkers Sunday 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm
Under the supervision of a team leader, volunteers working in teams of four will:
• Check tickets from guests as they enter the Green
• Point guests in the direction of their seating areas
• Provide Pops Program books to guests with general admission tickets
• Answer general questions about site amenities (food stations, bathrooms, etc.)
This job requires volunteers to stand during their entire shift.
SecuritySunday 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Under the supervision of a team leader, volunteers working in teams of two will:
• Walk the Village Green at 1:00 pm to ensure that everyone inside the perimeter is displaying a ticket to the concert
• Monitor each entrance to the Village Green to ensure that all guests display the proper tickets to obtain access to various areas
• Provide a presence and back-up at main ticket gate and parking lots for other Pops volunteers
• Monitor areas of limited access (such as Town Hall) to ensure that all guests display the proper identification to obtain access
These volunteers will be assisted by the Barnstable Police and must remain at the concert site until relieved by the Barnstable Police at approximately 7:30 PM.
This job requires volunteers to stand during their entire shift.
Group Tours Sunday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Under the supervision of a team leader, volunteers working in teams of two will:
• Greet tour buses at drop off point
• Walk group tour guests to their designated seating areas
• Provide program books to group tour guests
• Walk group tour guests back to the pick-up area at the conclusion of the concert
Post-Event Clean-Up Sunday 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Under the supervision of a team leader, volunteers working in teams of six will:
• Beginning immediately after the concert: remove all trash items from the Village Green
• Store all Coca Cola products removed from tables
• Gather and bag all table linens removed from the tables for storage
These volunteers will be provided with complimentary pizza and soda at the conclusion of their shift.
Office Help Ongoing
This will include various shifts at the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod offices in Centerville, answering phones, fulfilling ticket orders, assisting with mailings, and other light office work.
