May 22, 2009
The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod is proud to announce the release of the 2009-2010 Passport to the Arts, which offers a 50% discount on admission to 45 Cape Cod theaters, museums, historical sites, and performances. The Passport to the Arts is available now online.“The Passport to the Arts is the best purchase an arts lover on Cape Cod can make. With the Passport to the Arts, everyone can explore all the best arts and culture Cape Cod has to offer, whether it’s the museum or theater you’ve loved for years, or the chorale or historic home you’ve just discovered,” said Margaret Van Sciver, President of the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod. “The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod is proud to self-fund this valuable program at this critical time to tangibly benefit arts and culture lovers on Cape Cod, as well as all 45 participating cultural organizations. The Passport to the Arts is a model of impactful regional arts marketing, and a fantastic way to showcase the Cape's cultural community in all its diversity.”
Now in its sixth year, the Passport to the Arts has evolved from a small group of eight organizations to its current impressive roster of 45 cultural organizations, representing the very best of the arts and culture of Cape Cod. The Passport is a beautifully designed, souvenir-quality booklet with information about each participating organization. Passport holders will be able to receive a 50% discount on admission to select events at each participating venue once during the course of the year. Each member venue sets its own restrictions and rules of use, so Passport holders must call venues in advance to ensure availability.
