Rectrix Aerodrome Centers and Arts Foundation of Cape Cod Donate 1,200 Free Pops by the Sea Tickets to Families on Cape Cod

The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod announced today that 1,200 free TD Banknorth Pops by the Sea concert tickets will be made available to local families, thanks to a generous donation by Rectrix Aerodrome Centers, Inc. at HYA; a subsidiary of Rectrix Commercial Aviation Services Inc. This special program, involving more than thirty nonprofit health and human services agencies across Cape Cod, will provide free family lawn seating to the 24th Annual Pops by the Sea concert on Sunday August 2, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. The concert, held on the Hyannis Village Green, marks the only Cape Cod appearance by the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and conductor Keith Lockhart. This year’s Pops concert features celebrity guest conductor Angie Dickinson.“We are excited to support the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod and the free family ticket program to the 2009 Pops by the Sea concert,” remarked Richard Cawley, President of Rectrix Commercial Aviation Services Inc. “This program will provide an afternoon of quality entertainment to many deserving Cape Cod families.”

The free tickets will be available through Adult Collaborative of Cape Cod for Education and Support Services, the American Red Cross, Barnstable Fatherhood Program, Behavioral Health Services of Cape Cod Healthcare, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod and the Islands, The Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod, Cape and Islands Council Boy Scouts of America, The Cape and Islands Office of the Department of Social Services, Cape Cod Child Development, Cape Cod Children's Place, Cape Cod Literacy Council, Cape Head Injured Persons’ Housing and Education Group, Inc., Cape Regency Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, capeAbilities, CHAMP Homes, Children’s Cove, Essex Pavilion, Girl Scout Council of Southeastern Massachusetts, Gosnold on Cape Cod, Health Care of Southeastern Massachusetts, Hospice & Palliative Care of Cape Cod, Housing Assistance Corporation, Independence House, the Kennedy-Donovan Center, Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children – Cape & Islands Chapter, Outer Cape Health Services, The Penikese Island School, Safe Harbor, Salvation Army in Hyannis, Sight Loss Services, South Coastal Counties Legal Services, Windsor Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and the YMCA of Cape Cod.
