AFCC Announces Citizens Bank 2010 Summer Concert Series

The Citizens Bank Summer Concert series will once again fill the summer air with music. Presented by the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, the series brings free, family-friendly weekly outdoor concerts to eight Cape towns: Chatham, Dennis, Eastham, Falmouth, Harwich, Hyannis, Mashpee, and Sandwich.  The concert series, which features performances by more than one hundred talented local musicians, will open on Monday, June 28th, 2010.
 
“The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod is proud to offer another season of live, local music in villages across Cape Cod,” said Margaret Van Sciver, Arts Foundation of Cape Cod Board President.  “These family-friendly, free concerts have become a cherished staple of summer evenings on Cape Cod, and allow us to showcase our finest local musicians to the broadest possible audience.”

Local residents and Cape visitors of all ages are able to relax and enjoy first class entertainment in the different town centers promoting both artists and business districts alike during the warm summer nights.
 
All concerts are free and open to the public.  Guests are encouraged to bring a beach chair or blanket to the concerts.  There will be no rain dates. Summer Concerts on the Bandstand in Chatham
The concerts in Chatham will be performed Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:30 pm on the bandstand in Kate Gould Park on Main Street, in collaboration with the Chatham Chamber of Commerce.
