Arts Foundation of Cape Cod Kicks Off the Citizens Bank Summer Concert Series on July 4th

The Citizens Bank Summer Concert Series, which features 48 performances by more than twenty popular local bands, will open on Monday, July 4th, 2011 with Stage Door Canteen at the Dennis Bandstand and the Chandler Travis Philharmonic at Brooks Park in Harwich."We are thrilled to open the Citizens Bank Summer Concert Series on the 4th with two fabulous bands," said Executive Director Kevin Howard. "What could be more All-American than music on the bandstand?"
Kicking off six weeks of free outdoor concerts in eight towns, the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod will also be raffling off four Red Sox tickets at each of the two July 4th concerts. Anyone present at the concerts is eligible to win the tickets provided by Citizens Bank.
Concerts are free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring a beach chair or blanket to the concerts. There will be no rain dates. Full schedule will be available at www.artsfoundation.org.
