Internships for College Students on Cape Cod, Summer 2010
The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod announces its summer 2010 internship opportunities for college students or current high school seniors interested in the Arts or a non-profit career. We provide an ideal environment to learn about a regional arts agency that serves artists and arts lovers, cultural organizations and those that support them. Our high-energy environment is suited for multi-taskers dedicated to attention to detail and accuracy who want to spend a summer immersing themselves in the local art and cultural community that Cape Cod has to offer.
Interns will gain hands on experience with all aspects of projects, special events, exhibits, musical performances and the 25th annual Pops by the Sea Concert with a celebrity guest conductor. AFCC interns will gain invaluable resume experience.
Late May - Late August
Hours: full- or part-time (preferably full-time); some evening and weekend work
Stipend: $10/hour

Qualifications
Candidates should demonstrate an interest in the Arts or non-profit organizations. Successful interns should possess a sense of humor, be a team player and be extremely reliable and responsible. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse groups of people essential.
Interns must provide their own housing and have reliable transportation. Interns are reimbursed for mileage when attending events throughout Cape Cod. Familiarity with Microsoft word and excel required. Knowledge of Cape Cod or a wonderful sense of directions required.
Volunteers Needed
The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod needs volunteers to assist in the office and at special events year-round. Please email info@artsfoundation.org for more information and application materials.
