Exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the arts community on Cape Cod. Our Sales and Membership Director is responsible for sales of all Arts Foundation of Cape Cod events and memberships. Right candidate is dynamic, creative, with strong computer skills and attention to detail. This position is also a key ambassador with artists, cultural organization leaders, the business community and must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Database management experience critical. Social media skills a plus.

Summer 2014 Internships for College Students
The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod announces its summer 2014 internship opportunities for college students or recent high school or college graduates interested in careers in Arts & Culture or Non-Profit Organizations . We provide an ideal environment to learn about a regional arts agency that serves individual artists in all mediums, arts organization throughout Cape Cod, educational institutions and other varied arts-related initiatives.
Our high-energy environment is suited for multi-taskers with strong initiative and attention to detail with the opportunity to dedicate their summer to immersing themselves in the regional arts and cultural community on Cape Cod.
Interns will gain hands on experience with all aspects of projects including:
- The 29th Annual “Pops by the Sea Concert” in Hyannis featuring the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra
- The 25th Annual "Pops In The Park" Concert in Orleans featuring the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra
- The Arts Foundation Summer Concert Series featuring nightly concerts in 8 towns over 4 weeks presenting the Cape's best local musical groups
Late May – late August (at least through August 25)
Hours: full time; with evening and weekend work.

Candidates should demonstrate an interest in the Arts or non-profit organizations. Successful interns should possess a sense of humor, be a team player and be extremely reliable and responsible. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse groups of people essential.
Interns must provide their own housing and have reliable transportation. Interns are reimbursed for mileage when attending events throughout Cape Cod. Familiarity with Microsoft word, Excel required. Familiarity with digital photography/videography, and social media a plus. Knowledge of Cape Cod or a wonderful sense of direction required.
