Dear Friends,
We remember with appreciation and affection, a member of our board of directors, William Wendell. Bill passed away this week from complications of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS/Lou Gehrig's Disease). Bill chaired the marketing committee of the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod and brought a marvelous combination of creativity, humor and pragmatism to our organization. Working behind the scenes, Bill's ideas and focus dramatically improved the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod's performance on behalf of all of our constituents.
Among his many other contributions to our community, Bill served as the board chair of the Cape and Islands United Way. His strategic approach to problem-solving on behalf of our arts, cultural, health and human service communities will be missed.
We extend our deepest sympathy to his family.
Sincerely,
Margaret Van Sciver President Arts Foundation of Cape Cod
