Counter Productions
Counter Productions presents Company: In Concert on December 31 & January 1, 7 pm and January 2, 2 pm. On the night of his 35th birthday, confirmed bachelor Robert contemplates his unmarried state. Anton in Show Business runs January 7 - 9 & 14 - 16, 7 pm. The action starts where it always does in theater - amid the heartbreaking uncertainties and perverse humiliations of auditions. Three very different actresses beat the odds to join a production of Chekhov's Three Sisters at a backwater Texas theater.

Counter Productions is located at Whalers Wharf, 237-241 Commercial Street in Provincetown. For more information or tickets call 508-413-1000 or 811-866-4111 or visit www.counter-productions.org.

At the center of the movie is a riveting strategic argument between Sands and a Catholic priest sent to dissuade him; it's a long and static scene that provides intellectual heft to the abject rhythms of jail life that come before and after it.

Whaler's Wharf Cinema is located at 241 Commercial Street in Provincetown. For more information call 508-487-1750 or visit www.paam.org/special_events.html#film.
