Heart to Heart: Family Bereavement Program

Heart to Heart, a free six-session family bereavement support program hosted by the VNA, will begin on Monday, January 18 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod for children ages 5-13 who have experienced the loss of a parent, sibling, or grandparent. Meetings will be held every other week through March. Children and parents/adults could come to one or both sessions. A pizza dinner will be provided. Meetings are designed to offer education, information, and support on grief and loss for children and families and are particularly ideal for children ages 5 to 13. VNA Hospice staff and volunteers with special training will be facilitating the groups, which will be divided by age with a separate group for the parents/adults. Pre registration is required.
