The Academy of Performing Arts:
to support their internship program, which employs and educates high school and college students with a strong background in theatre arts.   $1,750

Barnstable Band Boosters: towards the purchase of high-end keyboard and two amplifiers to support BHS music programs including a new effort to attract more students to the study of modern and classic rock and roll music.   $1,500

Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod: to support a daily art program that encourages children to express creativity through fine arts, music, drama, arts and crafts.   $1,000

Cape Cod Art Association: towards the purchase of equipment and tools for a new clay studio to allow for expansion of instructional programs.   $1,500

Cape Cod Chorale: in support of their Holiday concert of Handel's The Messiah.   $750

Cape Cod Community College: to support the production of the play Katrina: The K Word in the spring semester of 2010, with 6 performances on campus and additional shows at 3 local high schools.   $1,000

Cape Cod Museum of Art: in support of the Schools to Careers Art Internship program, which expands the Cape's art and cultural resources through a mentoring program between professional artists and high school students.   $2,500

Cape Cod Opera: to support their high school and middle school operatic outreach programs.   $1,250

Chatham Music Club: in support of a benefit concert featuring selection of operatic pieces performed by local musicians and students, proceeds to fund music scholarships for local students.   $1,000

Colum Cille Pipes and Drums:
to support continuing musical and leadership training for band members, students and interested community members.   $1,250

Cotuit Center for the Arts: to support three in-school and five public performances of arias and piano concerto from the American folk opera, Porgy & Bess.   $1,750

Falmouth Theatre Guild: to defray the cost of costumes for their production of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.   $500

Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown: to support Kids Art Partners in Education (KAPE) 2010, which offers public school children on the Outer Cape free workshops in creative writing and visual arts taught by writing and visual arts fellows in residence at FAWC.   $1,750

Mashpee Community Concert Committee:
to support a theatrical residency by the Missoula Children's Theatre that will lead more than 200 students in a week of learning and discovery of the performing arts.   $1,000

Orleans Historical Society: to support an exhibit by Orleans 5th grade students and musical performances by Nauset Middle and High School students.   $350

Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum:
to support their Pilgrims in Provincetown Education Series, and interactive educational exhibit on Pilgrims and Wampanoags.   $1,000

Thornton W. Burgess Society: to support the creation, installation, presentation and promotion of special exhibits to honor the 100th Anniversary of the publication of Old Mother West Wind, Burgess's first important book for children.   $1,250

Town of Barnstable: to support Harbor Your Arts, which promotes creative and performing arts in Hyannis.   $1,750

Veterans for Peace: Cape Cod Chapter #041, to support the 15th Annual Peace Poetry Contest, Reading and Awards Ceremony.   $715

Zion Union Heritage Museum: towards the purchase of audio-visual equipment to record and reproduce educational materials during Black History Month and throughout the year.   $1,500
