Lenore Lyons: Funds to support Know Myself, Understand Others: Art Journals for Self Awareness, a pilot program in bully prevention for non-traditional learners.   $1,500

Alice Kociemba: Funding to support Calliope Poetry Readings at West Falmouth Library, which will co-sponsor a summer poetry reading featuring a nationally-known poet.   $750

Jim Hill and Mary Cronin: Funding to support I'm New Here, a collection of twenty poems by twenty different poets for middle-grade readers.   $750

Colleen Cunha: Funding to support production of a film for the Cape Cod Lighthouse Charter School in memory of John Stewart, one of the school's founding members, who passed away earlier this year. $500

Jacqueline Loring: Funding to help publish a book of interviews of veterans of the war in Vietnam and produce a video of the interviews.   $500

Educational Organizations


Nauset Regional High School Music Department: Funding to support a four day residency and performance of Magnificat by John Rutter at Carnegie Hall by the NRHS Honors Chorus in March 2012.   $1,200

Nauset Regional Middle School: Funding to support Arts Day, an all day, all school collaborative event to increase awareness, understanding, and appreciation of the arts with community programs and artists.   $800

Friends of the Sandwich Public Library: Funds to support Poet Speak 2012, a collaborative effort of school and public librarians to promote poetry as a valid means of expression among teens and to direct enthusiastic and prepared young poets to the Grand Slam teen poetry event.   $500

Nauset Youth Alliance: Funding to support a collaborative mural project with artist Greg Johnson and 112 children enrolled in the after school program.   $500

Non Arts Organizations


Veterans for Peace: Funding to support the 17th Annual Peace Poetry Contest, reading, and awards ceremony.   $750

Alzheimer's Services of Cape Cod & the Islands: Funding to support expansion of the Cape Cod Arts & Conversation Project, a series of monthly groups for caregivers and loved ones at galleries and museums across the Cape.   $625

Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod: Funding to support an Art Program that encourages children to express their creativity through fine arts, music, drama, enrichment opportunities, and arts & crafts programs.   $625

Town of Barnstable Growth Management Department: Funding to support Harbor Your Arts, an initiative to expand upon arts-focused revitalization of downtown Hyannis.   $500

Chatham Chamber of Commerce: Funds to support Brandenburg-by-the-Sea, a new holiday tradition performance of Bach's Brandenburg Concertos in Chatham during the Christmas Stroll weekend.   $500

Small Arts and Cultural Organizations


Cape Cod Opera: Funding to support high School and Middle School Operatic Outreach programs including apprentice program introduction, printed programs, history and translations of selections and question and answer periods   $2,000

Cape Cod Writer's Center: Funding to support Tomorrow's Writers Today, a program that fosters the literary skills of Barnstable County Public School students grade 8 - 12.   $1,250

Zion Union Heritage Museum: Funding to support Teaching Culture Through the Arts, workshops to support school partnerships, educate the community, and offer exceptional art education programs.   $1,250

Mashpee Pops, Inc.: Funding to support a theatrical residency by the Missoula Children's Theater, which will lead more than 200 Mashpee area students in a week of learning and discovery of the performing arts.   $1,000

Bourne Historical Society: Funding to support a Maritime Lecture Series, which will cover historical Cape Cod maritime events such as shipwrecks, historical sailing events, and more.   $500

Large Arts and Cultural Organizations


Cape Cod Museum of Art: Funding to support the School to Careers Art Internship Program.   $1,800

The Academy of Performing Arts: Funding to support the Internship Program which employs and educates college and high school students with a strong background in theatre arts.   $1,200

Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown: Funding to support Kids Art Partners in Education 2012, a program that offers free in-school workshops in visual arts and creative writing to public schoolchildren on the Outer Cape during the winter months.   $1,200

Harwich Junior Theatre: Funding to support HJT's Outreach in the Schools program, which brings Poetry and the Art of Listening to the 3rd and 4th grades at Harwich Elementary School.   $1,000

Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater: Funding to support the WHAT Lab, a creative program for the development of new artistic works.   $1,000

Cultural Center of Cape Cod: Funding to support the Marketing Support for Artists Program, which will provide instruction and assistance to emerging and established artists with written marketing materials.   $800

Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill: Funding to support the 6th Annual International Encaustics Conference, the only annual event to draw international artists who are engaged in the medium of pigmented wax.   $500

Heritage Museums & Gardens: Funding to support the exhibit Garden Gates, which will include working garden gates designed and made by local artists, installed around the gardens at Heritage.   $500
