Liz Argo:
for the completion of a documentary film, Summer Stock Story: the Silver Age of Summer Stock which highlights the heritage of the Orleans Arena Theatre from 1950 to 1977.   $1,250

ArtsFalmouth, Inc.: for the rental of tents for the 2006 Arts Alive! Festival in Falmouth, a weekend celebration of all kinds of art forms that is free and open to the public.   $1,000

Bourne Society for Historic Preservation: for costs associated with offering guided Trolley Rides narrated by local historical experts that will showcase the historic and scenic villages of the Town of Bourne.   $600

Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival: for costs associated with Festival Film Night and the presentation of the Italian film Allegro non Troppo and a performance by the Borromeo String Quartet.   $800

Cape Cod Children’s Museum: for hands-on educational workshops for parents and toddlers that will foster children’s understanding and appreciation of art.   $500

Cape Cod Community College:
for an artist in residence program with Bill Evaul that will include an exhibition of the artist’s work at the Higgins Art Gallery and workshops with local high school students.   $1,000

Cape Cod Repertory Theater: for the east coast premiere of the play, Tibet Through the Red Box which is based on an award winning children’s book and will include 18 performances, four post-show discussions with Tibetan dancers and one visual arts exhibition to accompany the show.   $1,500

Cape Cod Writer’s Center: for New Plays/New Playwrights, a series of workshops and readings for Cape and Islands playwrights who are preparing full-length plays for the stage.   $2,000

Cotuit Center for the Arts: for a series of free workshops designed for actors of all ages and levels of experience who want to explore and understand Shakespeare.   $1,200

Rick Fleury: for the development of Stone Soup an eight part discussion series in Provincetown that will explore the past and current cultural community of Cape Cod and the unique role of the individual and will air on local radio stations and on local cable access television.   $1,250

Candy Fox:
for a series of memoir writing classes and the development of a one-hour documentary film highlighting the struggles and accomplishments of women artists from Cape Cod in their 80’s and 90’s.   $2,000

Heritage Museums & Gardens: for promotion, public programming and the development of interactive exhibit stations for the first-ever retrospective exhibition of 20th century sailor-painter Charles Robert Patterson.   $1,000

Fine Arts Work Center: for the development of after-school visual arts, poetry and creative writing workshop for local youth that will be taught by Fine Arts Work Center fellows.   $2,500

Steven T. Oney: for costs associated with producing the 19th edition of the Captain Underhill mysteries as part of Cape Cod Radio Mystery Theater 24th season, to air on local and national radio stations.   $1,500

Osterville Historical Society: for Kids in the Museum an enrichment program designed to enhance the education 450 Barnstable county  5th grade students by exposing the students to the resources of the museum that focus on simple machines, science, technology and art.   $750

Nancy Pettibone:
to support a series of affordable classes, in partnership with Cape Cod Art Association and the Childcare Network of Cape Cod, intended to teach day-care providers and pre-school teachers how to incorporate art into their everyday programs.   $2,500

Pilgrim Monument & Museum: for a series of three educational family programs during the 2006 summer season that will utilize local artists and Native Americans.   $1,000

Provincetown Art Association and Museum: for support of a scholarship program that will allow local high school students to take summer art courses and local college students to take accredited art courses at PAAM’s Museum school.   $1,000

Christopher Seufert: for costs associated with the transfer and restoration of film shot by professionals and amateurs between the years of 1927 and 1971 and to develop a website where these irreplaceable images can be accessed by the general public for research and education.   $1,650

Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill: for the two-day Provincetown Dance Festival which will feature performances, panel discussions and workshops for both children and adults.   $1,500

Woods Hole Theatre Company:
for the purchase and installation of new fire proofed stage curtains and curtain track system at the Woods Hole Community Hall, a space utilized by many local organizations.   $1,000
