Fall for the Arts
On October 4 and 5, 2008, the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod will present the first annual celebration of the Fall for the Arts Festival in Dennis, Falmouth, and Hyannis.
The Fall for the Arts Festival is a free family festival that will feature local art and culture in three communities across Cape Cod, including live performances by local musicians; open houses at theaters, museums, and historical sites; readings and lectures; art activities for children; guided art and heritage walks; plein air painters; special art exhibits; and much more!
Local theaters, museums, individual artists, studios, galleries, and other members of the cultural community across Cape Cod will be offering specials and discounts throughout the weekend of October 4-5, to reach visitors and residents of all ages during this free, regional event.

As an artist partner in the Fall for the Arts Festival, you will receive:
- Inclusion in the festival program guide (a 64-page, full-color brochure of magazine quality)
- Inclusion on the festival map
- Inclusion on the festival web site, including a reciprocal link with your site
- Your brochures and information distributed at the festival information booth
- Festival brochures and information to distribute at your site

Get the word out!
- Post the Fall for the Arts poster in a prominent place
Already have events planned?
- Take advantage of the free marketing opportunities presented by the Fall for the Arts Festival. Submit your event
- to be included, and enjoy greater visibility through the Cape Cod View Magazine and the Arts Foundation of Cape
- Cod
- Include information about the Fall for the Arts Festival, and a festival logo, in your e-newsletters, website, and
- print media
- Offer special discounts during the weekend in support of the arts
- Extend the hours of your existing events during the weekend to increase your audience
- Dedicate a New Piece of Public Art
- If a new piece is about to be dedicated, schedule it for the festival weekend

The Fall for the Arts Festival is presented by the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod and sponsored by Cape Cod VIEW magazine. Steering committees in each town are developing a program of cultural activities that will span disciplines and delight people of all ages. Please be prepared to give a description of what your event will involve (offer an example) and provide us with your Web site address.
