About Our Organization
For nearly 60 years, the Cape Cod Melody Tent has been presenting world-class entertainment in Hyannis, the heart of Cape Cod. The Melody Tent is a non-profit theater dedicated to supporting other non-profit arts and education organizations in southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod, through grants and donations.
With a colorful history interwoven with the fabric of summer theater history on the east coast, the Melody Tent has emerged as a popular destination for patrons and performers alike, providing an intimate theater experience where every seat is within 50 feet of the stage.
Highlights of the 2009 summer season include Tony Bennett, Joe Cocker, the Steve Miller Band, the B-52’s, the Derek Truck Band, Darius Rucker, LeAnn Rimes, Diana Krall, Pink Martini, The Beach Boys, Loggins & Messina, and more.
