About Me

For over fifteen years, I have been sculpting fine art, portraits, monuments, and other public art. My sculpture is all figurative based, some realistic and some surreal. Typically, I create in clay, then cast in bronze, cold cast copper, resin, and hydrostone.

Through sculpting, I come to know myself more fully. The medium is a natural for me – when my hands enter the clay, a face or figure emerges, from a place I don’t know but am in touch with. When I create a face or figure, I’m symbolically representing all of humanity. Just a dab of clay can change an impression, provide a new insight. My aim is to create art that relates to the everyday, yet causes viewers to experience, think, and understand life more fully.
