The Studio on Slough Road

About Our Organization

I am a contemporary artist and the owner of the alternative
gallery Studio on Slough Road, we have seasonal shows of local
and provocative artist, with food, music and impromtu poetry
This summer we will have Artist in Residence Jordan Wolfson
doing a five day painting seminar Plein Air with an Edge
He is a Pollack=Krasner grant recipient and Yale graduate.
My large scale monotypes and installations are shown nationally
and internationally. I teach monotype and woodcut at the CCMOA

Our Mission

music, and poetry. We feature four to five local artist each season
and year round we are a printmaking studio for Kathleen Sidwell
We sponsor an intern each year from the Cape Cod Museum of Art
Art to Careers program.

Our History

We are entering our fourth season and we chosen at the Pick of the Week last year three show in a row. We feature Glass Artist
Benton Jones, Sculptor Roe Osborn, digital printmaker Mary Doering
and Theresa La Breques Whale works. Year round the works of
Kathleen Sidwell are displayed and the press in is working
mode as a functional print studio. We have featured cartoon
artist Ned Sonntag and Red Bones artist Rob Logan as well as
Boston artists John and Carolyn Evans, and New Orleans artist
with Scottish ties, Allison Steward and Campbell Hutchinson.
