About Me

About me- I was an art teacher at Chicopee Comp HS for 25 years, and a guidance counselor for the rest of my 34 year teaching career. I have been creating and exhibiting art professionally since the mid ’70s. When I retired to the Cape seven years ago, I did what most former art teachers do, I dedicated myself fulltime to my painting. My art has taken two divergent paths. My somewhat impressionistic pastel and acrylic paintings often depict intimate peaceful places on Cape Cod. I also love baseball and painting human interactions. The Cape Cod Baseball League and my “More Than the Game” series are a response to that motivation
