About Me

I have always loved working with wood and began turing in 2004. My work often starts with a log or limb and a chainsaw and often ends with a nicely turned object, sometimes it ends as “fancy firewood” or a chew toy for my dog Coco. (I do burn a lot of my work and Coco gets her fair share to chew!) Some of my work that did not go to the fire pit or dog was shown at two of the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod shows, “When We Were Younger” and “First Things First”.

Turned wood for utility and art, usually from local trees that have been taken down by storms or because they are a threat to people or property.

All sorts of Bowls, Christmas Trees, Accorn Bird Houses, Enclosed Forms, Natural Edge Forms and Bowls, Cowboy Hats, Molds for Nantucket Baskets, etc.
