Calliope – Poetry Readings at West Falmouth Library is celebrating its fifth season! Calliope meets most months, on a Sunday from 3 to 5 PM, with an open mike sign-up at 2:45 PM. Three featured poets read, then our open mike and the afternoon ends with a book-signing reception and refreshments. Calliope – a community for poets. Professional Affiliations

Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, Calliope is a poetry partner of the Massachusetts Poetry Festival. Alice Kociemba, its director facilitates a monthly poetry book discussion group at the Falmouth Public Library, which is open to new members. She is the author of the chapbook "Death of Teaticket Hardware" and is a member of the Jamaica Pond Poets workshop.
