Our Mission

The museum’s mission is to collect, conserve, study, interpret and exhibit works by outstanding artists associated with Cape Cod and the Islands. Through its programs, the museum seeks to preserve the artistic heritage of the area and to foster artistic and cultural growth withing the individual and the community.

Our History

The Cape Cod Museum Art was formed in 1982 to conserve and exhibit the work of the many famous Cape artists. With the new $1.5 million expansion, the museum includes 7 galleries from spacious to intimate including a glass enclosed sculpture gallery, a 90-seat air conditioned auditorium, The Weny Education Wing, the Harry Holl Sculpture and Clay Studio, a catering kitchen, and a landscaped sculpture garden.

Our Services and Programs

The CCMA focuses on the works of artists who have been influenced by the Cape and Islands environment, its people, and interactive exchange of artistic ideas.

Fees Charged

Admission: $8 adults; under 18 free. Group rates available.

Jan. 1 – March 31: Thurs. 10-8, Fri.-Sat. 10-5, Sun. 12-5
(closed Mon., Tues., Wed.)

Apr.1-Apr. 30: Wed. Fri. Sat. 10-5, Thurs. 10-8, Sun. 12-5 (closed Mon. Tues.)

May 1-31: Tues. Wed. Fri. Sat. 10-5, Thurs. 10-8, Sun. 12-5 (closed Mon.)(open on Memorial Day)

June 1-Columbus Day/Oct.11: Mon. Wed. Fri. Sat. 10-5, Thurs. 10-8, Sun. 12-5 (open Columbus Day)

Oct. 12-Dec. 31: Tues. Wed. Fri. Sat. 10-5, Thurs. 10-8, Sun. 12-5 (closed Monday)

We are open 10-5 on MEMORIAL DAY, 4TH OF JULY, LABOR DAY and COLUMBUS DAY.
