2nd Annual I ❤️ the Arts Day Set for July 22nd

For the second straight year, the Arts Foundation is joining the community in a celebration of the arts and the impact they have on our lives and our community as part of its I ❤️ the Arts Day.

Set for Wednesday, July 22nd, I ❤️ the Arts Day is an opportunity for everyone to find a way to support the arts, whether it’s through a donation to the Arts Foundation, giving back as a volunteer to your favorite arts organization, or visiting a museum, attending a play, or enjoying a concert here on Cape Cod.

“We started this as an opportunity for everyone on the Cape to reflect on what the arts mean to them and to use that as a catalyst for strengthening our creative community,” said Arts Foundation Executive Director Julie Wake. “The arts contribute so much to the region, offering joy, hope, healing, connection, and meaning. They are also an incredible economic driver, especially when you think about the number of people who come here to enjoy the abundance of arts and culture offerings we have throughout the year.”

Thanks to an anonymous Arts Foundation Patron, all donations to the Arts Foundation will be doubled, up to $2,500, now through July 22nd.

Donations will go to support the Arts Foundation’s mission which invests in meaningful arts programming across the Cape and Islands; empowering artists to take the next steps on their professional journeys; ensuring all children, regardless of their family’s socioeconomic status or background, have access to impactful arts experiences; and serving as the regional voice, advocating for the resources needed for a thriving arts and cultural sector.

The Arts Foundation’s programs make a difference for tens of thousands of people across the region on an annual basis.
